Hanford, CA – A city proud of its historical architecture, brings its residents new-age advancements. Swagit Productions, LLC, teams up with the City of Hanford to bring audio to its constituents.

Hanford is a small California city that is eager to step into modern technology in order to keep the residents informed of City business. Utilizing technology from Swagit Productions, LLC it is allowing the City to have transparency and keep residents informed of what is taking place within the City government.

Available in audio are various city council meetings dating back to May 15, 2012. The audio clips are archived on the city’s website and are organized within a clean table that is maintained and updated by Swagit Productions, LLC. Also available within the table is a basic search function that allows residents to search to the audio clips and find specific topics with ease.

By offering this type of technology to its residents, Hanford is trying to promote an open government as well as convenience to its constituents. “Utilizing services from Swagit Productions, LLC the City of Hanford has streamlined the availability and delivery of audio from public meetings to the residents of the City keeping them informed when they are not able to attend the meetings in person,” said Eric Forcey, City of Hanford’s director of IT.

Study sessions are generally scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month with regular sessions of the city council are held at 7:00 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
