Fort Pierce, FL – In addition to live broadcasts on Comcast Channel 27 and AT&T’s U-Verse Channel 99, City of Fort Pierce televised meetings are now available through live streaming and on-demand viewing through the City’s Website www.cityoffortpierce.com.

Beginning with the April 16, 2012, 6:30 p.m. City Commission meeting, the City’swebsite will provide archived video and indexing by agenda item, allowing end-users tojump to segments of interest instead of watching the entire meeting. “This newaddition to our website affords residents with another avenue to receive informationabout their local government. Transparency and efficiency of providing this type ofservice is important with today’s instantaneous media”, states David L. Recor, ICMA‐CM,City Manager.

The new video-on-demand will feature all City Commission, Planning Board, Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency, Fort Pierce Utilities Authority meetings and special programs about the community.
