Denison Development Alliance

Swagit Productions (Swagit) announced it will be creating up to 40 new jobs to be based in a 10,000 square foot facility in Denison, Texas. The company plans to begin hiring in late winter, with positions starting in early spring of 2019.

Swagit, founded in 2003, is privately-held and headquartered in Dallas, Texas. It is a progressive company that is pioneering the government transparency marketplace by providing hands-free video streaming® solutions to cities, counties, states, school districts, and health providers. The company’s unique approach to servicing government allows their clients to have a full end-to-end broadcast and streaming solution without consuming more time and resources of existing government staff. Swagit serves over 500 government jurisdictions in North America, with more than 150 in the state of Texas.

“We worked hand-in-hand with the Denison Development Alliance and our broker, Kent Smith, Principal, NAI Robert Lynn, to identify our new site,” stated Bryan Halley, Swagit’s CEO and President. “We visited the community and the site several times, and each time it became clearer that this was an ideal location for our new facility. I live in the Texoma area and we really liked Denison and its proximity to the North Texas Regional Airport.  We ship equipment all over the country so NTRA will be very convenient for us,” he added.

Swagit’s continual growth and rapidly growing customer base across North America created the need for expansion and facility redundancy. The additional facility in Denison will provide Swagit’s Dallas headquarters operational backup and support with its main function in becoming Swagit’s emergency operations center.

“Denison has a strong reputation for a stable and talented workforce,” explained David Spindle, Chairman of the Denison Development Alliance. “We worked closely with Swagit to find an appropriate facility and showcase all this community has to offer.  We are pleased that Swagit has decided to make the Denison their first location for expansion and look forward to a long and prosperous partnership.”

The facility that Swagit will be repurposing is located in the business park located on Highway 84 which was previously leased as the rehabilitation center for Texoma Medical Center.  Remodeling of the facility is scheduled to be started in the near future.
